Since June 10th the Jumbo Spirit is transporting two 325t heat exchangers from Fos, France to Houston, USA. At Fos, each exchanger was lifted directly from a barge with a dual crane lift and placed in the hold of the vessel. The current shipment is the second in a series of three voyages, where a total of six heat exchangers will be shipped from Fos to Houston. In Houston the exchangers will be discharged on rail carts that will transport the cargo directly to Arizona. The exchangers will become part of the Arizona Solar Plant.
